Fes was founded during the 8th century by Moulay Idriss and in the past also the capital of several dynasties. It reached its zenith under the Merinid sultans in the 14th century. Departure to Tangier. The city is located on the Strait of Gibraltar and offers a fascinating mix of Africa, Europe and the Orient. The Kasbah which dominates the old town and the harbour offers a beautiful view. Tangier has inspired many European and American artists (painters, musicians and writers). You will discover the ‘Grand Socco’, a busy place with an original architecture, and the Medina with its narrow streets and the ‘Little Socco’ square in the centre. Free time until embarkation.
