The road will lead us through the High Atlas mountains to Ouazarzate. This town is considered nowadays as a ‘Mini Hollywood’ since many international films have been produced in this region. You will discover the gigantic village of Ait Ben Haddou with its famous Kasbah. It has been classified as ‘World Cultural Heritage Site’ by UNESCO. Then visit of the imposing Kasbah Taourirt which used to be the Residence of Pasha El Glaoui of Marrakech. Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.

Departure to Zagora via the village of Agdz. Discovery of the fascinating and verdant Draa Valley with its numerous palm groves, orchards, cultivated fields, Ksour (fortified villages) and stunning sceneries. Dinner and overnight.

Drive via Tazzarine and Alnif through a stone desert to Rissani. This town is the capital of the Tafilalet region and in the past it was an important meeting point of caravans. Continuation to Erfoud. Oases are scattered here and there along the road. Dinner and overnight.

Optional: Excursion by off road vehicle to Merzouga. The small village is located at about 50 km from Erfoud at the foot of the fabulous sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Discover the magic of the Sahara!

Departure via Tinghir to the Todra Gorges with its narrow passages. You will enjoy the sight of splendid rocks which reach a height of 300 m. Then the road will lead us via Kelaa M’gouna (a region known for its gardens of roses) through the beautiful the Dades valley to Ouarzazate.  Dinner and overnight.

Continuation to Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountains. The road offers breathtaking views and reaches at the highest point an altitude of 2265m (Tizi-N-Tichka pass). Arrival in Marrakesh. The foundation of this ancient ‘Imperial City’ is dated back to the 11th century. Visit of the unforgettable Djemaa El Fna square.   Enjoy the unique atmosphere with dancers, acrobats, performing monkeys, story tellers and snake charmers... Dinner and overnight.

Visit of Marrakech and its remarkable monuments: the impressive Saadian Tombs, the ramparts, the Koutoubia Mosque (exterior), the sumptuous Bahia Palace and the Menara Garden. You will explore the bustling Souks which are the largest ones in Morocco. Marrakech, also named the ‘Red Pearl’, is fascinating by its different ethnic groups, its Islamic and Arabic architecture and its colours. Dinner and overnight.
